Combining the ATTO iPBridge™ 2700C/R/D iSCSI-to-Fibre Channel bridge, and Xtend SAN iSCSI initiator with existing Fibre Channel-based SAN's, allows Apple Xserve RAID storage to be backed up to a remote SAN using iSCSI.

Remote Connectivity to SANs

ATTO's Xtend SAN software allows Mac OS X servers, workstations and laptops the ability to communicate with Fibre Channel storage devices over an Ethernet network when used with the iPBridge™ 2700C/R/D iSCSI-to-Fibre Channel bridge.
