Embedded Systems Engineer
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)
As an Engineer in our Embedded Software Group, you will be responsible for the design, development, and engineering support of embedded applications for ATTO products. In this role, you will participate in creating product requirements/specifications, as well as all phases of the design cycle and our product development process.
    Position Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or related field with 2+ years previous work or internship/co-op experience
  • Must be familiar with Intel platforms; previous embedded software development experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work well in team environments
  • Experience working with networks, network equipment, TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, SCSI, iSCSI, RAID technologies, Virtual Tape Libraries and/or backup applications are a plus

Marketing Assistants (part time)
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for telephone/telemarketing lead generation and follow up. High volume calling into various companies from provided lists and databases to qualify and generate sales leads for our Channel Sales team.

    Position Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of previous telephone customer service or lead generation experience
  • Excellent telephone, oral communication and customer service skills
  • Must be available to work during ATTO business hours, approximately 20 to 30 hours per week

OEM Sales Manager
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

Reporting directly to our CEO, this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales management professional to lead our organization’s OEM sales team. As our OEM Sales Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing our OEM business development initiatives, processes and relationships, with both new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for coaching, motivating and managing the members of our OEM Sales Team through effective career development, training and performance evaluation methods. Must be available for national and/or international travel, up to 40% to 50%.

    Position Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical product/services environment with a successful track record of solution selling and quota achievement
  • 3 years of experience should be in a sales management or sales executive role with proven successful staff management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering/technical degree and/or MBA preferred
  • Proficiency to maintain strong business relationships and handle complex customer situations
  • Existing relationships with Storage OEM’s and related organizations and knowledge of high performance storage protocols, such as Fibre Channel, is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and effective negotiation skills
  • Candidate must be available for national and/or international travel, up to 40% to 50%

Partner Marketing Specialist
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As a Partner Marketing Specialist you will manage customer and partner relationships, to help uncover sales opportunities and drive product acceptance, which will allow ATTO to maintain/exceed our stronghold in target markets. You will be responsible for driving programs and soliciting feedback from partners, supporting Product Team efforts and initiatives, providing training (internally and externally) and maintaining excellent communication within ATTO and with partners and customers. Position requires 10% to 15% national and/or international travel.

    Position Qualifications
  • 3+ years B2B marketing, account management or business development experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Must have technical product background
  • Excellent project management, written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Must be available for up to 15% national and/or international travel

Product Manager
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As a Product Manager, you will provide product line leadership by supporting product development/lifecycle efforts and driving tasks and activities to completion. Responsibilities include being the “go-to” decision maker for the product line - taking ownership of product plans, tasks and activities for the success of the product line; preparing product/product line business cases, marketing plans, and related supporting documentation; gathering and assembling competitive information, including features, new technology, pricing, costs and margin information; participating in and providing input for customer proposals, RFQs and RFIs and/or customer issues as needed; and assisting with new product and product enhancement idea generation and evaluation efforts.

    Position Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years experience in product development/management and lifecycle maintenance role with proven leadership in a team R&D/corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; technical discipline is preferred. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
  • Technical product and/or technical product marketing strategy experience strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent leadership, negotiation, project management, and communication skills

Product Marketing Specialist
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

Do you like talking about technology? Are you always looking to learn more about the newest technical products out there? We are currently looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to “talk tech” with our customers about our products and technology. Other responsibilities include assisting in creating go-to-market plans, product branding and customer needs analysis. Some national travel is required.

    Position Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years Product Marketing experience; B2B technical product marketing experience is preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field; technical degree is a plus
  • Proven record in running product marketing programs and product launch activities
  • Excellent project management experience and written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Some national travel is required

Public Relations Specialist
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As our Public Relations Specialist, you will drive public relations programs/campaigns and coordinate our media efforts to secure editorial content in our industry media. Responsibilities include: Executing and maintaining press releases, technical papers, and advertising programs, relationships and activities; Proactively developing and maintaining relationships with the press, media and analysts; Communications planning, strategy, positioning and messaging, content authoring and editing/proofing (includes press releases, technical papers, etc.); Speaking publicly to eloquently represent ATTO and promote the brand. If you are a “techie” at heart and love to talk about technology, this is the PR job for you!

    Position Qualifications
  • 3+ years of corporate Public Relations/Marketing Communications experience, preferably in a high tech industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to reduce technical data and information into brief and compelling copy formats
  • Candidate should be available for national and/or international travel, up to 20%

Sales - Account Manager
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

We are currently looking for an Account Manager for our OEM (direct) sales team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for an assigned account base (Tier 2/Tier 3 OEMs) to prospect, sell to and grow revenue for. You will also be responsible for assisting Outside Account Executives in coordinating and supporting activities with their accounts, such as arranging/coordinating eval units, RFPs, quotes, webinars, conference calls, account plans, etc.

    Position Qualifications
  • 2+ years of inside sales/account management experience; direct sales and technical product experience is preferred
  • Proven record of strong revenue/account growth, with both new and existing customers
  • Must be team oriented with strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Associates degree in Business or technical field preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus

Senior Embedded Systems Engineer
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As a Senior Engineer in our Embedded Software Group, you will be responsible for the design, development, and engineering support of embedded applications for ATTO products.   • At least 5 years systems/software engineering experience

  • Experience working with networks, network equipment, TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, SCSI, iSCSI, RAID technologies, Virtual Tape Libraries and/or backup applications is a plus

Systems Software Engineer
Position Location: Buffalo, NY (Corporate Headquarters)

As an a member of our Systems Software Group, you will be responsible for the design and development of device drivers for our host adapter product line, for various operating system environments such as: Solaris, VMWare, HP/UX, etc.

    Position Qualifications
  • BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required
  • 3+ years experience writing device drivers or similar code using C and Assembler
  • Experience with storage systems and protocols (SCSI, ATA, SATA, SAS, etc.) is a plus
